About Us:

Jennifer Solomon has been teaching for over fourteen years at stables in New York and Florida.  Prior to starting Avalon Farm, she was the assistant trainer at Twin Lakes Farm in Bronxville, NY, teaching, riding and taking clients to shows.  Before that, she worked as the manager of Shadow Rock Farm in Ballston Spa, NY, overseeing the care and training of thirty show horses.

Gillian Wander began her riding career over twenty years ago.  As a junior, she showed in the equitation ranks while working for her trainers.  Gillian has taught at many local show barns, including Zephyr Farm in Mahopac, and Stepping Stone in Ridgefield, CT.  Gillian was also the manager of Heritage Farm in Katonah, one of the top show barns on the east coast, with as many as seventy horses in her care.
